Choosing the Right School for Your Child
At Southern Raised Learning, we know that choosing a school is about finding the right fit - especially when your child learns in unique ways. Every school is different, and your child’s success and well-being are our top priority. Our hope is that your child feels at home here, and that you as parents feel confident you’ve chosen the best place for them to grow.
When you visit, you’ll meet with our Admissions Director to talk through your child’s needs and hear more about how we support students at SRL. You’ll also tour our campus, step into classrooms, and see first-hand the way our teachers and students connect.
If you feel Southern Raised Learning may be the right fit for your family, the next step is simple: we’ll gather a few background documents, set up a time to discuss your questions and goals, then arrange a student shadow day so your child can experience SRL for themselves. Our Admissions Process
Step 1: Inquire
Begin with a tour and an informational meeting.
You can schedule a call or simply email our Admissions Office to set up your visit.
Step 2: Visit
A shadow day lets your child experience “a day in the life” of a Southern Raised Learning student. Shadow days are scheduled Monday through Thursday. Before your child attends, please provide the following:
Professional evaluations (such as a current learning profile, psychological evaluations, or relevant school records)
Most recent transcript (if available) and report cards
Completed online application packet
During the visit, faculty and staff will review your child’s work samples and connect with you to ensure we’re the right fit.
Step 3: Apply
After your visit, you can complete the application process. Virtual tours are also available, but we encourage on-site tours whenever possible. To schedule, please contact our Admissions Office.
