Southern Raised Food Drive
In Our Community
At Southern Raised Learning, we believe education extends beyond the classroom. Our high school vocational program is designed to teach students the value of responsibility, service, and community. Through hands-on experiences, students learn what it means to make a meaningful difference in the world around them.
One of our key community partnerships is with Midwest Food Bank, located in Peachtree City, Georgia. Midwest Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that distributes food and relief supplies to over 2,400 partner agencies across the United States and internationally. Their mission is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition and provide relief to those in need through strong community partnerships and volunteer service.
Our vocational students regularly volunteer at the Peachtree City distribution center, serving in every capacity—from load-out and warehouse operations to packing and shipping supplies for domestic and international relief projects. Through these experiences, students not only develop practical job skills but also learn compassion, teamwork, and a sense of purpose.
The Midwest Food Bank partnership is just one of many ways Southern Raised Learning helps develop responsible, community-minded young adults who understand that giving back strengthens both character and community.
